Scientists now know that about 90% of the flora and fauna in a rainforest are found in the canopy. Trees and all plants try to reach up to get some sun, which barely reaches the forest floor. For this reason most leaves, fruits and seeds are on top, thus attracting the animals too.

In Costa Rica you will be able to explore the forest from a different perspective and spot flora and fauna easily thanks to the hanging bridges. Suspension bridges spanning canyons and drainages and walking trails through the rainforest will help you experience both ground and tree top flora and fauna.
